Team
Director's Note - I believe filmmaking should be a collaborative art form that reflects and uplifts diverse voices. My process embraced alternative working methods rooted in inclusion, shared creativity, and ethical production practices. From inception through post-production, the film has championed women's voices and narratives. We created pathways for young women in production and postproduction, specifically in technical roles.
Gentle, Angry Women is a conversation starter and a call to collective resistance through everyday activism. Rather than feeling overwhelmed by global crises, war, and destruction, the film champions small acts of defiance and community as powerful forms of resistance. At its heart, this is a film about hope - about finding strength in gentle anger and discovering that the most profound changes often begin with the smallest, most personal acts of courage.
We invite you to join this conversation at our screenings. Share your own stories of quiet rebellion, support women’s voices in your community, and find the strength of defiance that creates ripples of transformation.
