Barbara has been making documentary films and creative media for positive social change for twenty-five-years. She specialises in collaborative filmmaking, archive film and bringing hidden voices and stories to light. Her work has been screened at international film festivals, indie cinemas, TV, exhibitions, galleries and museums.

Social Media Manager

Ruby is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Cornwall who works across animation, sound, video, photography, and experimental media. In 2024, she joined awen production as co-director and now leads social media strategy for Folklife Films.

Danielle is a multimedia journalist from Cornwall. She specialises in arts and culture stories and is passionate about elevating marginalised voices. Her work can be found locally and internationally across print, digital and social media. She joins Folklife Films as Press and Publicity Officer to help spread the word about our latest documentaries.
